Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the RFP response/proposal development process; including assessing requirements, creating a proposal outline based on stated requirements, acquiring content from subject matter experts and team members, formulating clear and effective responses and complying with all solicitation requirements.
• Develop proposal content through original writing and the adaption of pre-formulated content.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control processes required to produce quality work product.
• Liaise with clients and team members to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Perform advanced document formatting and presentation design.
• Proofread response and ensure compliance based on RFP/RFQ/etc. stated requirements.
• Search purchasing websites, such as Merx, for bid opportunities.
• Maintain content library.

Must-Haves:

• Strong written communication prowess, and proofreading/editing skills.
• Ability to convey thoughts, ideas, recommendations and technical information in a clearly understood and concise manner.
• Upholds the highest standards in spelling, grammar, syntax and style.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint & Word) and Adobe.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience and comfort with tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing the sales pursuit process (i.e., RFPs, RFQs, presentations)
• Bachelor’s in Business degree, or equivalent, and experience in technical writing, journalism, or related profession
• Proficiency in Indesign or similar tools is considered an asset
